Flexible Focusers
Crisp easy focusing without the shakes, at any OTA position!
This quality product solves two common ETX problems. It allows you to focus without the jitters and allows you to easily reach the focus knob even when the OTA is parallel with the forks. Since the ETX operates in Alt-Az mode there is a very large portion of the sky overhead where it can be difficult to reach the focus knob when viewing. Don't let its extreme flexibility worry you, focus control remains fine and crisp with no backlash or rubbery feeling, the flexible shaft is extremely rigid on its rotational axis and provides excellent focus control. Installs in seconds with the included wrench. Beware of cheapo look alike units. We use CNC machined solid aluminum knurled knobs and the finest quality rubber coated industrial spring steel cable assuring easy crisp focusing action with a minimum of transmitted vibration.

Multi-Mate Alignment Tool (& more!)
It's a compass, a level, a dust plug and it protects your
scope in storage!
The Multi-Mate is four handy devices in one compact inexpensive unit. Great for quickly and accurately placing your ETX in "home" position. Simply insert the Multi-Mate into your eyepiece holder and use the large bubble level to quickly and accurately level your optical tube. Then just flip it over and swing the tube around until the compass points North. It doesnt get any easier than that! But its utility doesn't end there. When you're scope is in storage it also acts as a dust seal and moisture guard. The Mult-Mate contains a replaceable bag of desiccant to protect your scope from moisture damage. The desiccant draws moisture out of your OTA through small holes around the compass and traps it in the desiccant chamber. This helps prevent damage due to mold formation on the optics. The Multi-Mate is precision machined from solid aluminum to assure highly accurate readings, and finished in a black anodized protective coating.

2"
Eyepiece Adapter for ETX 90/105/125
It's amazing
how much your view opens up with 2" eyepieces, even through a 1.25"
port!
This 2" eyepiece adapter can really open up your view. The results are remarkable. Works well even with wide field 40mm eyepieces. Anodized aluminum construction with a compression ring to prevent marring eyepiece barrels. Threaded for standard 1.25" eyepiece filters.
Note:This adapter requires a fair amount of back focus and is only recommend for catadioptric telescopes with a moving mirror focus system, will not work with most reflectors or refractors. Not for ETX60/70/80 due to lack of back focus.

Piggyback Camera Mount for ETX 90/105/125
Includes 4 counterweights
and can be used as a counterweight system as well!
This "piggyback" camera mount will allow you to piggyback a 35mm camera on your ETX optical tube. This lets you to take long exposure wide field guided shots (by guiding through the main tube). This is the easiest way to get into SLR astrophotography since wide field -low power shots are very forgiving to tracking errors. For example you can get some great images of extended objects like M31, M42, etc. For longer exposures you should use an illuminated reticle crosshair eyepiece to guide the scope by making minute corrections while keeping a star centered in the crosshair. Constructed of aluminum with a durable black powder coat finish. The inside is well padded to protect the scopes finish. Camera mounting is via a standard 1/4-20 camera thumbscrew. Includes a set of 4 counterweights as shown. Note: Scope should be polar mounted to track correctly for astrophotography. This mount also serves a dual purpose! For piggyback use the counterweights are attached to the tripod mount hole under the optical tube. But we also include a coupler which will allow you to attach the weights to the clamp itself so you can also use the mount as a counterweight set for a rear mounted camera!
